IT TechPros Partners With North County InterFaith Community Services To Help Serve And Support
The Local Community

Escondido, CA – November 11, 2011 – IT TechPros, Inc., a respected managed service provider, announces its partnership with North County InterFaith Community Services, located in Escondido, CA.

According to North County InterFaith Community Services (NCICS), "The San Diego Regional Taskforce on the Homeless, "there are more than 7,500 homeless individuals living in San Diego, and 2,300, outside of the city of San Diego. This includes the chronically homeless, those homeless due to domestic violence, families with children, day laborers, the mentally ill, seniors, substance abusers, veterans, and youth. Of these, over 2000 individuals are living within the cities of Escondido and Oceanside (http://www.interfaithservices.org/about.html)."

"When Interfaith was founded, our focus was on providing food, other basic necessities, and shelter for the homeless. We continue to provide this help today, and now we do so much more..." says Richard Bratt, Executive Director of NCICS. He adds "Employment is a vital part of many Interfaith's programs. Last year we provided employment guidance and other job-related services to 22,729 people in North San Diego County. We had 10,960 visits to our employment labs in Oceanside and in Escondido where job seekers participate in resume preparation, classes in job hunting skills, training in using the Internet to search for jobs, and much more."

As a small local business operating in Escondido, CA, IT TechPros President & CEO, Kathy David, and Vice President & CIO, Jeff David, believe that the best way to revitalize and help the city of Escondido prosper, is to help and give back to others, especially to those in need. "The only way to make a difference is to take action." says Kathy.  IT TechPros, recently partnered with the North County InterFaith Community Services as of October of this year, and has made a long-term commitment to help the organization through volunteerism, through giving, and through active advocacy of the organization in San Diego County.

"When we found out how many disadvantaged and homeless people were in the North County San Diego area, we were strongly convicted to do something. It truly grieved our hearts, to hear the thousands of people who were homeless in our community. The busyness of life and running a small business has taken priority, and we have missed seeing the real need in the local community. God has blessed our family in so many ways, and we want to share that love with others." David shared.

This season, is the toughest season for North County InterFaith Community Services to keep its food pantry full. "Donations and help are tougher to get these days..." says a representative of the organization. To help the organization fill this need, IT TechPros is using its office located in Escondido, as a drop off area for canned goods. Weekly, the staff of IT TechPros will deliver the collected canned goods to InterFaith Community Services. This will be an ongoing effort that will continue throughout the year, to help keep a healthy supply of canned goods in the organization's food pantry.

If you would like to help and support North County InterFaith Community Services, and would like to donate canned goods towards their Nutritional Center food pantry, you can stop by our office at 934 S. Andreasen Drive, Ste A, Escondido, CA 92029, Monday through Friday during business hours. You can also go to InterFaith Community Services to drop off your canned good donations directly at 550 W. Washington Avenue, Ste B. Escondido, CA 92025.
